Pre-booking of Reliance Jio was suspended just after sometime when it started. The company opened pre-bookings at on Thursday, August 24 and was reportedly flooded with orders via both the Jio website and MyJio app. The servers for the two channels even slowed down due to the huge amount of JioPhone orders.
Jio Phone Bookings
According to various media reports, it has been said that around six million people had pre registered for the latest offering from Reliance Jio. However, their is no official statement from Jio regarding the count.Many customers who book the phone has the question regarding when their phone will be delivered. Jio stated that the delivery will start from the month of September but did not specify any date.
There is a strong report that Reliance Jio will start its phone deliveries from September 21 on the occasion of Navratri. Still, the customers are still waiting for the official confirmation.Also, their are many people who are waiting for Jio phone pre-booking though this is suspended by Jio.
About Jio Phone
Jio announced the JioPhone at Rs.0 but for security, reason user needs to pay Rs.1500 as security deposit which will be refunded after 3 years if the user returns the phone. There is Rs.153 Dan Dana Dan plan available which gives unlimited calling & 500 MB per day data after 500 MB speed will be reduced to 128 kbps.
